Job Purpose:



 To ensure the hotels financial goals and objectives are achieved by ensuring that all accounting and control procedures are in place in accordance with the company policy and local requirements and regulations.



Key Result Areas:



1. Enforces, documents and establishes effective controls for all revenues, expenses and protection of assets.



2. Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analysis, interpretation and projections to management.



3. Co-ordinates and assists department heads in the preparation and implementation of the hotels annual business plan.



4. Controls capital and FF&E expenditure to ensure compliance with justifications and approvals.



5.  Implements and maintains effective accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policy; generally accepted accounting principles and local legal requirements and regulations.



6.  Directs and manages the cost control, purchasing and storeroom functions ensuring effective systems are in place.



7. Administers all hotel insurance programs in conjunction with corporate office.



8. Approves all contracts, leases and other legal documents and ensures their safekeeping.



9. Acts as authorized signatory, ensuring that allowances, adjustments, purchase requests, cheques and other documents are approved accordingly.



10. Ensures that employees are selected, trained, evaluated and rewarded in compliance with existing employee-management system.



11. Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate employees.



12. Participates in all wage and salary administration functions.



13. Support the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Group through the implementation of policies and activities that contribute to environment-friendly practices and community - sensitive in the property.



14. Contributes to risk management activities for the property.



15. Leads and is responsible for the implementation of the internal talent development program.
