Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to the Hotel Manager and/or General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.

2. Implement strategies aimed at cost minimization, productivity maximization without reduction of quality standards.

3. Ensure operation runs within out looked financial framework.

4. Monitor and review quality standards for the department.

5. Daily check of all public areas and guest corridors.

6. Report maintenance faults and damage to furniture and fittings in all areas of the hotel to the maintenance department.

7. Attend promptly to all guest complaints and requests.

8. Complete and update annually Standards and Procedures for the Housekeeping Department.

9. Ensure preparation of cleaning schedule for the return of all out of order rooms.

10. Oversee the inspection of VIP or Vacant Clean rooms.

11. Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and operating Plans.

12. Attend meeting as required.

13. Ensure that all ambassadors comply with the grooming and uniform standards.

14. Conduct development and performance review, identifying key personnel for further

development and structured career pathing.

15. Implement and maintain training system to ensure that team members have the necessary

framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.

16. Oversee the selection and appointment of new team members within the department.

17. Participate in the hotel “Manager on Duty” program.

18. Ensure applicable health and safety standard are understood and applied in the conduct of work activities.

19. Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and team members alike.

20. Purchase operational supplies as required within budget.

21. Check work schedules and manpower levels and plan annual leave schedules

22. Record monthly activity participation and training plan.

23. Communicate with team member to updated hotel information.

24. Prepare monthly presentation for P&L (monthly) meeting and ensure all reporting and servicing deadline are met on a timely basis

25. Prepare annual expense budget/revenue targets and Capital Expenditure.



26. Work closely with Front Office, Guest Service, Concierge, Event, F&B, Villa Team to maintain

open channels of communication.

27. Monitor productivities within department

28. Cooperate with department concern of handling security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirement

29. Co-ordinate with engineer to ensure of Pest Control system is in place by following Food & Hygiene Standard

30. Any other duties in relation to the job nature as assigned by the Talent & Development Manager.
