SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent in work-related training and experience Fair English – written and spoken
•	Hold a qualification in Kitchen Production and Management or equivalent
•	Kitchen management, menu planning and operational skills
•	Excellent communication skills, able to develop close communications and relationships with employees and guests
•	Good computer skills especially in MS Office and Micros 
•	Familiar with current culinary trends and methods, anticipate and recognize signs of upcoming trends and market behavior.
•	Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
•	Hold a qualification in Kitchen Production and Management or equivalent.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

•	Minimum two to four years work experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or in a similar large restaurant complex.
•	Preferable prerequisite is experience in the travel/hotel industry.
•	Able to communicate in English writing and speaking is an advantage.
•	Positive and flexible with a “can do” good attitude.
