JOB SUMMARY
The Manager is responsible for medical services provided within the department, ensuring that the highest standards of medical care, professional ethics, integrity and accountability are maintained.
Areas of responsibility include team management, nursing, patient education, inventory control, communication, liaison, information preparation, records management, coordination of medical and hygienic processes to government standards.
Position requires strong computer skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and employees, as well as outside clients and vendors.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Management
• Function as a team leader.
• Planning and coordinating daily work assignments and operations
• Ability to take initiatives and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• Handle of any customer complaint.
• Respond to any changes in the department function and dictated by the Industry or company requirement.

Reporting, Procedures, Standards
• Implementing plans and SOP as per related nursing procedures and standard.
• Ability to research and prepare reports or other correspondence as required.
• Assisting in the establishment, implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the clinic.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substances.

Human Resources
• Participating in the selection, training and supervision of all clinic employees.
• Evaluating performance, recommending increases and disciplinary actions for clinic employees.
• Skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, public and external agencies
• Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
• Maintain cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests; building rapport, participating in team problems-solving methods.
• Demonstrates professional and personal behaviors as per performance review criteria and company requirement.
• Train new hires to ensure the new team members can perform quality standard as required.
• Establish training program for the clinic team as per new programs, safety standard and up to date regulations requirement.

Communication
• Serving as a liaison between clinic and external laboratories and suppliers.
• Maintains continuity among medical team by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Operation
• Working with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided
• Identified patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, friends and families.
• Promotes patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals ; teaching patient, friends and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health patient outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments.
• Resolves patients’ problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.

General
• Maintaining the strictest confidentiality.
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s Instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Report any incident or adverse event to Cluster General Manager.
• Report for duty punctually wearing the departments uniform and name badge at all times according to the dress code.
• Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain monthly goals and training plan which will be aligned with performance appraisals.
• Adhere to company policy and protocols.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Medical
• Update knowledge of related government regulations and requirements.
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating equipment and supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
